Waddles – Day 3 & Jippers – Day 12

Not a very clear one, but here is mum, with Waddles on the left and Jippers using her as a slippery slide!

The only way we could keep Red on the nest to start with after Waddles was born was to chuck another egg [...]

Here is the new one, born @ 8am 19 Dec 2006 named Waddles (*cough* for obvious reasons), we had already lost one of the chicks and thought we lost this one too, found it outside the nest freezing cold, barely moving. A quick trip to the house, some heat and love and all is good. [...]

Here we have a our NEW chick starting to break out on Day 20 (today).

Tomorrow Jippers will have a play mate *clap*

If you look closely at the egg on the left (bottom right side) you can just you can see the egg breaking open… excitement plus, it's great to be on holidays to enjoy [...]

Our first little chick born 9 Dec 2006.

Her adoptive mum ‘Red’ has done a wonderful job.

Gina has named it ‘Jippers’ a neutral name as we have no clue on the sex.
