A LITTLE MUNDY HISTORY…
Peter MUNDY & a pregnant Jane Mundy nee PRISK with their two children Samuel and Jane were the first to arrive in Sydney, Australia on 13th November 1848 onboard the 'General Hewitt'. OUR ADOPTED ‘LEGAL’ FAMILY Bradshaw, FARRELL, Kim, Kinchella, Lewis, Murray If you have read through other pages, you will know that my mother Peggy was adopted (click here for her adoption story) Winifred married twice so I have included a chart here which includes her descendant’s only Descendants of Winifred (Elizabeth) FRITCHLEY Formerly SAICH m/s BURKE Obituary Notice from Sydney Morning Herald, August 20th, 1903. Mr. George Melrose, Licensed surveyor, died at his residence, at Ashfield, early on Tuesday morning, in his 74th year, and his remains were interred yesterday (Wednesday) in St John's Church of England Cemetery, Ashfield, Listed here are all the surnames current in our family database as at 29 Feb 2008. He married Elizabeth 1640 in Mullion, Cornwall South, England. She died Unknown. Descendants of John Charles DAVIS 1-John Charles DAVIS b. Abt 1844, Barnstaple, , Devonshire, England, d. 1913, West Tamworth, NSW, Aus Ada May Cummins nee Matthews according to the birth certificates of her children and nee Hamilton according to her death certificate has been the hardest lady to trace along with her husband William John Cummins (A BREAK ON THE CUMMINS WOULD BE WELCOME!). I had applied for a birth certificate of Ada Mary Hamilton [...] Certificates & Documents relating to the Cummins & Fritchley branch known to be held by descendants. I would be happy to share the details of any of these with you, just contact me with the one(s) you would like. Like wise if you holds certificates &/or details not listed here I your addition to the collection [...] Can you help place these people in our family tree? |
