Well, here we are finally back online. Whilst I loved Drupal for presenting a genealogy website, I found the constant security updates tiresome and annoying. I could have taken the time to move it to Drupal 6, however the update problem would still have been there. With Wordpress, there are automatic updates. This is a dream to me and a life saviour!
Now we just need to get used to the “tag” system of finding items on the site. Hopefully you won’t find it too difficult.
Forgive any weirdness that may occur while you are browsing as I keep playing with ways of presenting our genealogy. For now I am keeping the tree off line until I figure a way of of merging the two presentations. In the meantime you will still find a tree over at ancestry.com.au.
